SupplierEvaluations gets help from Google Translate

November 25, 2009
SupplierEvaluations incorporates Google Translate into the fabric of its website allowing visitors to get imperfect but practical translation of its content and functionality. Users can choose their own language via Google Translate control anywhere on the site and continue navigating in their own language. Translation is offered for menus, content and practically all of the on-screen controls.

Says Valery Zelixon, Founder and Managing partner: "We all know that language barrier and differences in culture are major obstacles in communication. Having attracted visitors from all around world we quickly realized that ability to provide content in the native tongue of these visitors is going to be crucial for success. We noticed that even basic routings such as member registration is deeply affected by inability of non-native English speakers to use the site effectively."
