At trainingforindustry.com, you will find the new Certificate of Proficiency in Storekeeping @ L2. This certificate includes 8 modules of knowledge required by all warehouse personnel.
• Module 1: Background knowledge
• Module 2: Workplace safety
• Module 3: Health and personal presentation
• Module 4: Inwards goods
• Module 5: Handling and storage
• Module 6: Movement of product
• Module 7: Picking and packing
• Module 8: Dispatch areas.
Health and safety issues have been identified as being particularly important in our business and are spread throughout the various modules.
Each Module includes its own assessment and requires 80% pass mark in order to continue on to the next module. At the completion of all modules a certificate is posted to the candidates registered postal address.
Level 3 is currently being written and is aimed particularly at supervisor/team leader level.
